Both poems are precise stimulated andalthough they are both happy memories the emotions vary, for examplein Piano the poem is very sad and nostalgic till the heart of meweeps as the poet wishes that he could return to those presumptivelyhappier times, on the other hand In Mrs Tilchers class is verychildish and as in a dreamy world the laugh of a bell swung by arunning childThe mood shows the intention of the poems. In In Mrs Tilchers Classthis was to recreate the rubber eraser warmth and happiness of childhoodinnocence and how it all lurchd at the send away of primary election school theinky tadpoles changed fr om commas into exclamation marks I believethis symbolizes the change from a child into an adolescent. In InMrs Tilchers Class the structure is very simple and easy tounderstand, there is no rime scheme, four octets and eightsyllables to a line this helps to recreate the idyllic primaryclassroom by being very simple like the sort of things that a youngchild would be learning about. However Piano has a very complexstructure, in comparison, and although again the syllable count israndom the equalizer is not so, there are three regular quatrains each with rime couplets.In particular the poets style shows us how they feel.
